The Magnolia flower

Look at me,
I’m lying on my tree,
Swaying in the Breeze,
Who knew life could be so pleasant

But I see,
Chaotic sand streams in the north,
Horns of war at my back door,
Now I need to fight for my country,

I blossom in the desert, behind the yellow river
I could hear the huns iron heels, the arrows in the sky
I try to fight, I cannot flight, who is here to aid
I search my way out here in the pitch dark.
I take my stand on the battlefield, between the loyal hearts
I pray upon the starless nights, to find out my own answer,
Who am I? Why I’m here? Can I play my part.
Then I return back to my tree, swaying in the summer breeze.

Annoying Like a Dog

Annoying Like a Dog
For Justin Bieber, 9 years old

Your voice sounds like a pineapple smashed on the floor
like a cannon shooting a volcano
like a nuke blowing underwater
like a hundred hungry children
like a dying dolphin, like a roaring lion
a untuned violin
a rusty tuba
a piano on fire
like a person's throat after drinking acid
like a lemon tree
like a rotten egg boiled with ketchup and chocolate
like bbq ostrich without pepper and salt
a penguin's beak
a bucket of meat
like squeezing the high E string on the guitar
like ramming your head into a coral reef
banana peels slushed on your face while eating noodles
computers overheating in your lap
apps crashing for no reason
dinosaurs chasing you around town
watching Family Guy while taking a bath
like 9 christens eating at a same table
like the world turned upside down
like trees falling apart
like the noise I heard while I was watching TV
and Justin Bieber's show came on.

so much depends
upon

a same colored Rubik
Cube

mixed with obvious
puzzles

in the blind man's
hand.
